Reasons  Youths  Are  Migrating  To  The  Cities

            In our modern and fast developing society, we can usually see youths and adults who are always looking out for better facilities and living environment to enchance and to improve on their living conditions. Thus, it is a common sight to see youths and working adults are always migrating from the countryside or the less developed part to the nations or the cities in search of the “greener posture ‘. It is definitely undeniable to the truth that there are more attractions in the cities for youths and the working adults.

            Firstly, the cities provide more modern educational opportunities. Private colleges, international schools, professional colleges and even tuition centres are mushrooming in the cities. So, by migrating to the cities, the youths would not have to leave their homes to pursue their tertiary education. As a result, they get to kill two birds with one stone, as they would have better, higher educational opportunities, while at the same time saving up on the extra cost for living expenses if they were travel from the countryside.

            Life in the cities is more attractive and interesting as most modern infra-structures and facilities for mage-projects are built in these destinations. Facilities for public transport, telecommunications, highways, the Light Rail Transport system are all centralized in big cities like Kuala Lumpur. Such modern facilities not only provide conveniences and comfort to city dwellers, but also serve to add hues and varieties to their lifestyles.

            Furthermore, it is a natural wish that everyone would want to have greener postures in the working life. No one will be easily contented by remaining in small towns doing simple chores of clerks, running errands as office-boys or at the most as a manager of a small firm. All such positions would only offer lower salaries compared to their counterparts who are in the same positions with the same nature of jobs, but they will definitely be withdrawing higher pay-packets cum with all the benefits that are being offered, although one may have the same academic qualifications and years of experience in the job.

            Everyone wishes to have a higher living standards. It is undeniable that all modern health care centres with the latest equipment and facilities are only located in cities. All government hospitals as well as privately owned hospitals where the most known and knowledgeable specialists in every medical field are in these cities. Therefore, by migrating to the cities also means they are able to enjoy better health care facilities conveniently, especially during any emergency, involving matters of life and death to their loved ones.

            Lastly, it is a human nature to yearn for more relaxation in life. So, it is true that life is never dull in the city as there are many entertainment providing various forms of relaxation even till the wee-hours of the morning. As a fact, the forces of the attraction are always stronger to make youths to migrate to the cities for a greater postures and better living standards than in a small town.
